The official "Class-A" BSA uniform consists of the following:
Uniform Shirt (red shoulder epaulets for Boy Scouts and Scouters)
- Uniform Pants/Shorts
- Uniform Belt
- BSA Hat (optional)
- Uniform Socks
- Troop Neckerchief or BSA related Bolo
At troop meetings, a uniform shirt and pants are required for all scouts. The troop neckerchief (red with yellow highlights) or a bolo should be worn. Full uniforms are required at Courts of Honor. f a full uniform is required for any other event, you will be notified beforehand. Full uniform consists of all of the items listed above, as well as the following:
- Merit Badge Sash
- OA Sash (if applicable/OA events only)
Patches must be appropriately placed according to diagrams found on the inside covers (front and back) of the BSA handbook, or through the inspection sheets provided here -- see below. For more information on the BSA uniform, see pg. 12 in your Scout Handbook.
